Homing Words is a petite, self-managed publisher dedicated to literary translation. Its initiative Women Who Translate Women focuses on publishing translated literary works written by female authors, both contemporary and from the past.
Created in 2014 and evolving into its current form in 2024, Homing Words celebrates the beauty of the Spanish language and honours the mission of helping stories in English find a new home in the Spanish-speaking world.
This collaborative initiative aims to publish independently or in partnership with other publishers.
Homing Words can manage the full editorial process, from translation to publication, or focus primarily on the initial stages—conducting comprehensive literary research, securing permissions, and leading the organisation and coordination required to ensure translations are both accurate and of the highest quality.
